Portable Neck Massager with Heat – Wearable EMS Pendant Neck Relaxer
A warm neck massage that weighs less than a bag of crisps.
Hang it round your neck, cinch the strap so the two pads sit snug at the base of your skull, and tap the button. Warmth first – then a gentle pulsing that works the tight band of muscle across the top of your shoulders. It's 58 g, so you forget it's there. Wear it while you answer emails, on the train home, or with your feet up. When it's done, the control drops into a pocket.
How it works
Two curved steel pads deliver low-frequency EMS pulses (electrical muscle stimulation) into the muscles either side of your neck, making them contract and release in a steady rhythm – the tap-knead-press feeling of a good pair of thumbs, without the thumbs. The pads also heat, so tight muscles warm up and let go faster. There's no motor and no noise: you'll hear nothing at all.
What you get
Three heat settings. Around 42, 47 and 52 °C at the pads, reached in seconds. Low for everyday, high for a cold morning or a properly stiff neck.
Four massage modes. Combination, tapping, kneading and pressing – cycle through with one button until you find the one your neck likes.
Nine intensity levels, on the display. Start at 1–3. 4–6 is where most people live. 7–9 is for people who ask for "firmer" at the physio.
58 grams. Lighter than a lightweight neck massager has any right to be. No U-shaped collar, no bulk, nothing pressing on your throat.
Fits any neck. A soft silicone lanyard with a cinch toggle: pull it up and the pads sit snug; loosen it and it hangs like a lanyard. Works over a shirt collar too.
Charge once, use for a fortnight. 1200 mAh battery – about 15 daily sessions per charge. Charges from any USB port, power bank or car socket.
Pocket control. A little puck with three big buttons and a clear number display – no phone app, nothing to pair.
Who it's for
Office workers with "tech neck", drivers and commuters, students, anyone who wakes with a stiff neck, and anyone who's been meaning to see someone about their shoulders for six months. Small and smart enough to be a stocking-filler for someone who's impossible to buy for.

Frequently asked questions
What does it feel like?
A warm, rhythmic tapping or squeezing at the base of your neck. Not a vibration – there's nothing moving. If it prickles, wet the pads; if it's too much, turn it down.
Does the heat get hot?
The top setting is warm-bath warm, not hot-water-bottle hot. Most people leave it on the middle setting.
Is it the same as a TENS machine?
Similar technology, different aim. TENS targets nerves for pain relief; EMS targets muscles to make them contract and relax. For a tight, tired neck, EMS is the one you want.
Can I wear it under a coat?
Yes – the pads sit at the back of the neck and the control tucks into a pocket. That's rather the point.
Will it help with cervical spondylosis or a trapped nerve?
It's a wellness device for easing everyday muscle tension, not a treatment. If you have a diagnosed condition, ask your GP or physio before using it.
