Your Massage, Your Way
Some evenings call for a gentle tingle; others need something with a bit more bite. Choose from four modes, then dial in one of nine intensity levels until it feels just right:
- Kneading - a soft, rolling sensation to loosen tired muscles
- Press - deeper, steadier pressure for stubborn tension
- Tapping - a brisk, refreshing pulse when you need a lift
- Combination - all three woven together for a proper wind-down
Levels 1–2 are lovely and gentle, 3–5 sit in the comfort zone, 6–7 go deep, and 8–9 are for when you've really earned it.
Soothing Warmth, Dialled In
Think hot-water bottle for your neck, without the faff. Three heat settings let you choose your comfort level - a gentle 37-42°C, a cosy 42-47°C, or a deeper 47-52°C and the warmth spreads evenly across the pads so the pulses feel softer and your muscles let go more easily. Pop the kettle on, press a button, and feel the day melt off your shoulders.
Hands-Free, Wherever You Are
It hangs like a pendant, weighs next to nothing, and the slider adjusts the fit in seconds - so you can wear it at your desk, on the sofa or on the train and simply carry on. It runs whisper-quiet, charges by USB and lasts up to five days on a single charge, with an auto power-off so you can drift off without a worry. For less than the cost of a single sports massage, it's there every evening, ready when you are.
FAQs
How often can I use it, and for how long?
How often can I use it, and for how long?
Most people use it once or twice a day for around 15 minutes - after work, or before bed to unwind. The device switches itself off at the end of each session, so you can't overdo it by accident. If you're new to EMS, start on a low level and build up over a few days; there's no prize for jumping straight to 9.
What does EMS actually feel like? Will it hurt?
What does EMS actually feel like? Will it hurt?
Not at all when used sensibly. EMS sends gentle electrical pulses through the pads that make your muscles contract and release, a bit like a rhythmic tingle or a light tapping. On the lower levels it's very mild; higher levels feel firmer and deeper. Always start low and turn it up gradually until it feels pleasant, not sharp.
Is it safe for me to use?
Is it safe for me to use?
For most healthy adults, yes. However, please don't use it if you have a pacemaker or any implanted electronic device, if you're pregnant, or if you have epilepsy, a heart condition or a skin condition on your neck. Only ever place the pads on the back and sides of your neck or on your shoulders and arms — never across the front of your throat. If you have any ongoing health concerns, have a quick word with your GP before using it.
How hot does it get?
How hot does it get?
The top heat setting reaches around 47–52°C, which is warm and comforting rather than scalding, but it's worth starting on level 1 and stepping up. If you have reduced sensation in your skin or are prone to burns, stick to the lowest setting or use the massage without heat.
How do I keep it clean?
How do I keep it clean?
Wipe the metal pads with a slightly damp cloth after use and let them dry before you pop it away - clean pads give a clearer, more even pulse. Keep the main unit away from water and never submerge it. That's genuinely all it needs.
How long does the battery last, and how do I charge it?
How long does the battery last, and how do I charge it?
Up to five days of typical use from one charge, which for most people means charging once a week. It charges from a standard USB cable, so a laptop, power bank or phone plug will all do the job - brilliant for travelling or keeping in your desk drawer.
Will it fit me, and can I use it elsewhere?
Will it fit me, and can I use it elsewhere?
The cord slider adjusts to fit most necks comfortably, and because the pads simply rest against your skin, there's nothing to strap or tighten. As well as the neck, you can rest the pads on your shoulders or wrap the cord around your upper arm for a soothing session after the gym or a long day of lifting.
